Rule for sharing room

For those who will living in japan from now on, to achieving more affordable rent fee so many people will living together in one apartment.
When you share the room and start living with other people, i order to make everybody live together comfortably lets decide on minimal set of rules for example:
- 1. Be quiet in room after 10 pm.
- 2. Ask your roommate if you want to invite your friends.
- 3. Etc.

Inside Room
- 1. Be quiet in room after 10 pm.
- 2. Don't leave the air conditioner on.
- 3. When watching videos or listening to music on your smartphone, don't turn up the volume.
- 4. When you make a phone call, be mindful of the time and how you laugh afterwards. Don't call late.
- 5. Do not smoke inside the room. Decide where to smoke and where to throw out trash.
- 1. When you put something in the fridge, write your name on it.
- 2. Do not leave food in the rice cooker, pot or frying pan.
- 3. Wash dishes and cooking utensils immediately after completing the procedure.
- 4. Throw away any food that has passed its expiration date immediately.
- 5. Ventilate the room after cooking strong-smelling food.
- 6. Do not leave any sho trash lying around.
- 1. After a bath or shower, clean out any hair remaining in the drain.
- 2. Decide on a time limit for using the bath or shower (e.g., 20 minutes per person) and stick to it.
- 1. When the laundry is done, take the clothes out of the washing machine immediately.
- 2. Do not leave your personal belongings, such as cosmetics or toothbrushes, in places where everyone else uses them.
- 1. Each person should leave up to two pairs of shoes in the entrance. If you have a lot of shoes, put them in the shoe box.
- 2. Always lock the door even when you are in your room.
★ Noises from your room can be heard in the rooms next door, above, and below. Other people's noises seem very noisy.
★ If you set a time to be quiet, you will be less likely to get into trouble.
When buying things that everyone in the room uses, such as toilet paper, tissues, or kitchen utensils, everyone pays for them.
- 1. Clean at least twice a week.
- 2. Decide who will clean, when and where.
★ The room is rented, so please use it cleanly.
★ If the room is dirty when you return it, you will have to pay a high fee.
- 1. When I want to invite someone over, I always tell my roommate and get their permission.
- 2. Don't let your friend stay in your roommate's room.
- 3. Do not let your girlfriend or boyfriend into your apartment.
- 1. Always keep important things with you.
- 2. Decide who will clean, when and where.
★ If something important like money, keys, or a wallet goes missing, you might get into a fight, with someone claiming that "someone took it".
- 1. Don't smoke in the share house.
- 2. It is prohibited to solicit roommates for network businesses or religions.
- 3. Do not upload photos or videos of your room or roommates to social media without permission.
- 4. Do not enter other people's rooms without permission.
- 5. Clean your own private room.
- 1. Prepare the rent before it is due.
- 2. Do not leave personal belongings such as your wallet in the living room.
- 3. Do not lend or borrow money.
- 4. Personal belongings left in the living room, etc. may be used by other people.
★ Please respect your roommates and do not do anything that they may dislike.
★★When people don't follow the rules★★
- 1. Tell people who are not following the rules to "follow the rules".
- 2. If the rules are still not followed, discuss it with your roommates.
- 3. If you have any problems, consult the staff at your apartment company or your teachers at school.
